God is consistent even when we are not. He never changes: For I am the LORD, I change not; Malachi 3:6 He is a provider when we are tossed into places of scarcity and lack.
Amen, and amen, Beverly! God is our faithful Father. Last summer was excruciatingly painful for us, and then God provided a new contract from waaayyyyy out of left field (baseball terminololgy). To this day, I rejoice in telling people about that miraculous provision, and that it's still with us today.
